SIERRA LEONE of Region 5

Sierra Leone is a predominantly Muslim country (80%). The remainder of the population is Christian or practices indigenous religions. With such a challenge, WE Harvest is pleased to partner with several churches in Sierra Leone to reach the lost.

King's Church of Bo (Pastor Thomas Mattia)

King's Church of Bo was founded by Pastor Thomas Andrew Mattia and his wife Howa in 2022. Starting with 12 people, the church has grown to 160. WE Harvest built a worship center in the summer of 2022 (see below).

The church also has 30 orphans.

Current Project:

The WE Harvest Team has been super blessed to be able to build the orphans of King's Church a home. See the progress below.

The video below shows the current progress which began in January of 2025. Lord-willing, this orphanage will be ready to have for the orphans by this summer.

King's Church Operations:
We are focusing our service in bring many to the saving knowledge of our dear Lord through;

Church planting (training pastors, supporting church planters and families, constructing church
buildings and parsonage)
Medical outreach to depraved communities
Caring for the orphans and widows
Vocational skills training and Agricultural empowerment young people.
Feeding program and disaster response.
Providing access to clean water in various communities.
